Walker's Sod Farm is a family-owned sod farm in McMinnville, TN, with over 43 years of experience in turf grass cultivation. Founded in 1976 by Clifford Walker as Walker's Landscaping Contractors, the business initially employed 29 people and contracted with the state on road and highway projects, with Clifford's son Trent as his partner. In 1988, the current sod farm was purchased after previously leasing land for cutting. In 1995, with the birth of Kyler Walker, the third-generation sod farmer, Cliff and Trent shifted focus from state bidding to dedicated grass production and sod sales. In 2007, the farm purchased its fleet of trucks, and in 2008, it incorporated as Walker's Sod Farm, Inc. In 2019, Dorinda Walker joined as Human Resources and Marketing Manager, focusing on branding and employee culture.
