As founder Alec McClennan, I was inspired by my childhood on a small Ohio farm, where I enjoyed healthy, chemical-free lawns and landscapes. After becoming a Master Gardener and Certified Turfgrass Professional, I saw a need for a safer, effective alternative for Indianapolis families. I started Good Nature in 1999 to provide that option and to help shift industry standards. With a background in Civil Engineering, I apply a problem-solving approach to organic lawn care, focusing on long-term soil and turf health so local residents can have beautiful, resilient lawns that are safe for everyone.
