Common Questions
How does a custom irrigation design help with my Orlando yard's patchy sprinkler coverage?
Inconsistent coverage, often from poorly matched sprinkler heads or incorrect spacing, wastes water and leaves dry spots. Our design services start with a detailed site analysis, measuring water pressure and flow. We then create a zone-specific plan using components with matched precipitation rates. This ensures each area of your landscape, from turf to shrubs, receives the precise amount of water it needs, eliminating gaps and promoting even, healthy growth throughout your Orlando property.
What does your irrigation repair service include beyond just replacing a broken head?
Our repair service is a comprehensive diagnostic process. We don't just swap parts; we identify the root cause of the failure. This includes checking for issues like low pressure from a faulty valve, leaks in lateral lines, or controller programming errors. We ensure any repair aligns with Florida's irrigation standards and local Orlando ordinances. Our approach fixes the immediate problem and prevents future issues, saving you water and money over time.
Can you help protect my plants from salt damage common in Florida?
Absolutely. Salt buildup from irrigation water or soil can harm sensitive plants. Our maintenance plans address this directly. We perform seasonal system flushes to clear mineral deposits from lines and emitters. More importantly, we program smart controllers for deep, infrequent watering cycles that help leach salts below the root zone. For new installations or redesigns, we can incorporate drip irrigation zones for targeted watering at the root level, which minimizes salt accumulation on foliage and is highly effective for Orlando's landscape beds.
Company Background
After a 29-year U.S. Army career, I found a new mission in making landscapes thrive. For over 13 years in arid West Texas, I built an irrigation business focused on water conservation. I furthered my expertise through formal irrigation design studies at the University of Texas at El Paso. Returning to Central Florida in 2022, I worked as an Irrigation Manager for large firms and was concerned by the widespread lack of technical knowledge in the field. This led me to launch ClearStream Irrigation in April 2025. My goal is to educate Central Florida on smart irrigation, conserve our vital water resources, and raise the professional standard for every system we design, install, and maintain.
